Senet Recognised in the Chambers Global Guide
Following the recent announcement that Senet has been ranked in the Chambers Asia Pacific Guide 2026, we are pleased to share that Senet has now been ranked in the Chambers Global Guide 2026 - one of the most respected independent assessments of legal and professional services expertise in the world. These rankings are in addition to individual rankings achieved in both Guides by Julian Hoskins and Daniel Lovecek for 2026.
Senet is one of four firms ranked in Asia Pacific (Gaming & Gambling) for 2026 and one of few firms ranked globally.
This article explains how Chambers rankings work and what a Global ranking reflects about a firm's capabilities.
About Chambers and Partners
Chambers and Partners has been assessing legal and professional services firms for over 30 years. Its research covers more than 200 jurisdictions across the globe, producing annual guides used by general counsel, in-house legal teams and senior decision-makers to identify advisors for complex, high-value engagements.
The Chambers Global Guide ranks the top global lawyers, law firms and in-house counsel in over 200 jurisdictions across the world. The 2026 edition includes 15,061 department rankings and 32,962 lawyer rankings, which is a reflection of the Guide's breadth, but also of the selectivity required to be included.
How Rankings Are Determined
Chambers rankings are underpinned by a detailed research methodology recognised for its accuracy, depth and quality.
Rankings are not self-assessed or purchased. The process involves:
· Independent research: Dedicated, full-time research teams work year-round contacting lawyers and clients directly, reviewing submissions and conducting selected interviews with supplied references. Chambers employs research analysts, communicating in over 24 languages, overseen by 6 Research Directors with in-depth knowledge of the marketplace.
· Client interviews: Rankings are grounded in direct feedback from clients and referees with firsthand experience of the firm's work. Reference contacts can be clients or anyone with experience and knowledge of the firm over the last 12 months. Chambers does not disclose the identity of interviewees and quotes are always anonymised.
· Multi-factor assessment: Sending a submission is just one part of the process. Additional analysis includes reference feedback, client satisfaction indices, reputation in the market, peer knowledge and other discreet independent market sources. Chambers assesses firms across factors including evident legal ability, client service, commercial awareness, calibre of the broader team, diligence and cost effectiveness.
Sending a submission does not guarantee a ranking. Whilst every submission is reviewed and assessed, only the top applicants receive a ranking.
Global vs Local Rankings: What the Distinction Means
Chambers produces guides at both a local and global level. The distinction matters.
Local or regional guides, such as Chambers UK or Chambers Asia-Pacific, assess firms operating within a specific jurisdiction or geography. The Global Guide applies a higher threshold: it identifies firms demonstrating capability and track record across international and cross-border mandates, requiring advisors with the depth and breadth to handle complex matters that span multiple jurisdictions, regulatory environments and client contexts.
Chambers' team of experienced researchers conduct thousands of one-to-one calls each research cycle to identify and recognise firms best placed to handle complex international mandates. A Global ranking reflects that an independent body of researchers, clients and market participants has assessed the firm as genuinely operating at that level, not simply as a local practitioner with international ambitions.
What This Means for Clients
For clients navigating complex regulatory landscapes, particularly those operating across jurisdictions or engaging with global regulatory bodies, advisor selection carries real consequences. Independent assessments like Chambers provide a reference point grounded in client experience and market reputation, rather than self-reported capability.
We are proud of this recognition and remain committed to the quality of advice and service our clients rely on.
