With an active interest in sports, gaming and gambling regulation, he applies a meticulous eye for statutory interpretation to provide clients with timely and accurate legal advice.
Nigel has held previous roles in the insurance and commercial sectors, where he advised insurers and self-insured companies on a wide range of matters involving high scale property damage and motor vehicle accidents across Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales. He adopts a client-focused, commercial approach that emphasises cost-effective resolutions.
Nigel holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from Curtin University and is admitted to practice in Victoria and the High Court of Australia. He has been a member of the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association since 2023.
